Meditations
Yoga Nidra is a deep relaxation, a self-inquiry and a meditation. You will put your senses and thinking mind into a state of calmness, that allows you to feel that deep sense of peace.

Unplug from your day-to-day activities, stress, and worry and go on a calming and blissful Yoga Nidra and Sound Bath meditative journey, that is deeply soothing and rejuvenating – a total relaxing experience for the mind, body, and spirit.

Unwind with the combination of Yoga Nidra and the healing sound vibrations from singing bowls, gongs, and other beautiful sounds to relax and heal your whole body.

Yoga Nidra is known as ‘yogic sleep’ or ‘effortless relaxation’. The practice draws our attention inwards, and we learn to surf between the states of wakefulness and sleep, where our body finds its natural state of equilibrium (homeostasis) – the breath balances and becomes quiet, unconscious and conscious aspects of the mind reveal themselves, and we fall into an innate state of deep, blissful awareness.

During your Yoga Nidra you will experience a Sound Bath. It is an immersion in beautiful sounds and vibrations that are healing for your body, mind, and spirit. A Sound Bath is a deeply relaxing, meditative experience which can take you on a journey of deep relaxation, healing and self-discovery, a profound sense of peace and wellbeing.

Being guided in Yoga Nidra mediation and immersed in a Sound Bath help reduce stress and anxiety, aid sleep and help shift energy and thoughts that no longer serve you. Sound has profound effects on our nervous system – turns on our parasympathetic nervous system which is our relaxation response. The healing frequencies and vibrations will wash away all your stress, tension, and cares.
Everything in the Universe, including our body, is composed of vibrations. Every cell and every organ in our body vibrates at a particular frequency. The tones produced by the instruments are felt in your body, with certain tones affecting your energy centres (chakras) for healing, balancing and meditation.

Kundalini Yoga & Meditation Teacher

Jenny’s spiritual name is Sita Simran Kaur, which translates as the sacred “Princess/Lioness of Meditation” embodies creative life energy, teaching, nurturing, unconditional love, as well as tough love, encapsulated in a timeless beauty seen by the heart, applicable to her life, work and spiritual practice. She took her first Kundalini Yoga class in 1992, and has recently been certified KRI teacher, honouring the tradition of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan ®. Each class offers insight in a particular theme, connecting the body, mind, spirit and linking the finite with the infinite.

She is most interested in adapting yoga for those who believe they are too old, too stiff, too weak, too fat, or too something else to do yoga – not true! She is committed to sharing the ancient technology — the art and the science — of Kundalini yoga in classes designed for all levels and abilities.

She also teaches iRest meditation, sound therapy (gong relaxation/meditations), walking meditations, and guided imagery meditation. She has been an academic in health nutrition and energy modalities (pranic healing and reiki) for 15 years.
