Our observational skills, active listening, deep connection and maintaining complete presence are non-negotiables. At Inna Essence, we are setting our clients up to experience optimal movement and to awaken awareness within their body through Pilates and Yoga. Looking for a nurturing, after-school activity that supports your child’s wellbeing? Our Kids Yoga & Mindfulness Program is back for Term 2 💜

Designed especially for primary school–aged children (5–12 years), this structured 8-week program blends yoga, mindfulness, movement, and relaxation in a calm and supportive studio environment. Each session is playful, engaging, and thoughtfully designed to help children feel confident, connected, and at ease.

🌿 Throughout the term, children will:
• Build strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination
• Develop focus, self-awareness, and emotional regulation
• Explore creativity, self-expression, and connection with others

Led by our wonderful teacher Silke - an experienced yoga instructor and former high school educator - you can feel confident knowing your child is in safe and supportive hands. Silke holds a current Blue Card and is NDIS registered.

Would you know what to do if someone you care about was experiencing a mental health challenge or crisis?

Our Mental Health First Aid Course is an internationally recognised, evidence-based training designed to give you the confidence, knowledge and practical skills to provide initial support - until professional help is available or the situation improves.

Facilitated by Dr Matthew Warren-James, this hands-on course will guide you through how to:

🤍 Recognise the signs and symptoms of common mental health conditions
🤍 Start supportive and effective conversations
🤍 Respond appropriately in crisis situations
🤍 Understand risk factors, impacts and treatment pathways
🤍 Support your own wellbeing as a Mental Health First Aider

Whether you’re a parent, teacher, workplace leader, carer, or community member, this course will help you feel more confident in supporting those around you.

All participants receive a Certification of Completion from Mental Health First Aid Australia.

In this first part, we’re highlighting our gentle, slow, and deeply nourishing Yoga classes - perfect when your body and mind are asking for rest, release, and reconnection.

🌿 Restorative Yoga
A deeply relaxing class using props to support the body in restful poses held for longer periods. Perfect for full-body relaxation and nervous system reset.

🌿 Restorative Yoga + Yoga Nidra
Enjoy 60 minutes of Restorative Yoga followed by 30 minutes of Yoga Nidra - a guided meditation designed to bring you into a state of deep rest and awareness.

🌿 Yin Yoga
A slow-paced practice with long-held stretches targeting connective tissue and joints. Promotes flexibility, mobility, and mindfulness.

🌿 Gentle Yoga

This week, Andrea is demonstrating the advanced exercise Horseback on the Ladder Barrel.

In the STOTT PILATES® repertoire, this core-intensive exercise mimics the Reformer version, challenging abdominal endurance and hip control.

Straddling the barrel, the body maintains a deep C-curve while the inner thighs hug in for support. From this strong, rounded position, the arms circle with control - requiring coordination, stability and total body connection.
