From the 7th of April, UQ will start our 2025 Vampire Cup campaign - and we need your help! Here are the answers to your burning questions, and yes, you probably can donate ‼️ Even if you can't donate at the moment, get an eligible friend to join in and they can donate on your behalf.

Vampire Cup is back!
The annual national competition is just 3 weeks away!
The AMSA Vampire Cup is an annual blood donation competition where Australian medical schools compete to see who can give the most blood and help save the most lives!
This year, the competition will run from April 7 to June 2.
Points to the UQ tally: whole blood (3 points), plasma (1 point) and platelets (1). Group donations are most welcome, so grab your friends, CBL/TBL mates and donate together! If you are not eligible to donate, you can still contribute to the tally by getting someone to donate on your behalf!
This is the perfect time to help spread the word! For now:

2. SIGN UP TO LIFEBLOOD (via this link: https://my.donateblood.com.au/app/utils/create_account). Make sure you join the UQMS team or the donation will not count towards the UQ tally. Check out this video as a good guide to signing up: https://fb.watch/qJgf7dX2Dr/
