A couple of weeks back our 6 week Winter Challenge finished up and we had some great results. Our winner for the challenge did a great job over the 6 weeks:

Coaches Award - Max Rose

A big congratulations to our Coaches Award winner Max Rose. Over the 6 week period Max completed 35 sessions at Taps Fitness and absolutely smashed the training over that period of time. His efforts in both his PT and Group classes were awesome to see and it was no surprise when our final testing day came, he smashed his results and lost 3 kg of fat and increased his fitness testing by over 60 reps. Well done on winning our Coaches Award!

6 Week Challenge Winner - James Vardenega

A huge congratulations to James (JV) for winning our Winter Challenge. James has been working extremely hard over the year with his training and it was great to see his improvements over the course of the challenge. He dropped over 3% body fat which he hit PB on on his body fat % and also hit some big numbers in his Fitness and Strength Testing. His fitness journey has taken a real positive turn and it’s great to see his big improvements over the challenge. Well done JV for being our 6 Week Challenge Winner!

A huge Congratulations to Matt Smith for being our May client of the month. Never goes less than 100% in our group classes and always pushes his limits at training. Challenges himself on lifting more, getting in more reps and it’s no surprise he has improved his strength and fitness by regularly turning up. Also does rugby training on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and plays on Saturdays on top of training most mornings in group. Congratulations on being our client of the month Matt!

Client of the month!!

A big congrats to Elissa Kelly for being our April Client of the month. Elissa has been a member of Taps for a little while now and always works extremely hard in the gym. No matter what the session in the gym, she always goes 100%. Enjoys lifting the big weights and pushes herself in the cardio sessions. She doesn’t need alot of motivation, just comes in and works hard. Congrats Elissa for being our client of the month 🙌🏾

Out 6 Week Challenge Winners!

Congratulations to our 6 Week Challenge winner Georgia! Georgia has been a member of Taps for a couple of years and has always put in a big effort in all the challenges she has joined. Her consistent efforts in her PT sessions as well as the group classes not only saw improvements in her fitness testing results but also her Inbody Scans. Dropping body fat and increasing her muscle mass it’s the leanest she has been and it’s no surprise given all the hard work she has put in. Congratulations Georgia for being our 2025 KIck Start Challenge winner!

A big congratulations to Garth who won our coaches award. Garth over the last 2 challenges has done extremely well with all of his efforts to lose weight. Over the last 2 challenges he has lost 20kg which is an amazing effort. He has made big efforts to attend many of the group classes and has changed his nutrition which has seen a huge difference in weight loss journey. Well done Garth on all your efforts and well done on winning our coaches award!

Congratulations to Tom for being our February client of the month. Tom joined the Taps team in 2024 and since joining has really embraced the group classes and PT sessions. His improvements in his strength and fitness over the last 6 months has been great to watch. Could barely lift 6kg Dumbells when his first session and now Benching 60kg for reps in regular PT and Group classes. A consistent training schedule and pushing himself has been the key to his improvements over his time here at Taps. Well done Tom and congrats Tom for being our client of the month!

Our 6 Week Challenge Winners!

6 Week Challenge Coaches Award!

Congratulations to Karla Mahmut for winning our Coaches Award for the 6 week challenge. Karla worked extremely hard during the challenge and completed more sessions than anyone in the studio. Some weeks she was training 6 sessions a week which is massive. Her consistent efforts in the studio really showed in her fitness testing which was great to see and it’s been great to see her improvements over the 6 week period. Well done Karla on winning our Coaches Award and well deserved for your efforts.

6 Week Challenge Champion!

Congratulations to Dan for being our back to back winner for the summer shred 6 week challenge. Dan has had an incredible journey over the last 5 months at Taps and it’s been amazing to see his transformation over the 2 challenges. He kicked off this challenge leaner than finishing the last challenge and went on to lose 5kg of body fat over the challenge. (Total of 7kg of fat loss since July) He has been working really hard not only in the studio but also his nutrition. For the first time at Taps Fitness someone went back to back champion. WEEKLY CHALLENGE WINNERS:

During our Summer Shred Challenge we held weekly challenges and gave a chance to everyone to win prizes. There were some tough challenges during the weeks and a great uptake. They had to complete the challenge to go into the draw to win a prize. Well done to all of our weekly champions.

Our September and October Client of the Month!

Serge has been a member of Taps Fitness for about a year and is Mr Consistent. Comes in every session, works extremely hard and always pushes himself. Even when he has had a few injuries, he has still pushed through those hurdles and not made an excuse, understanding that it’s important to move and continue to train the body and knowing that you can make modifications and still get a good session in. Results always comes with consistent training and Serge always makes sure to push his limits in classes to get the results. Well done Serge on being our September client of the month!

Kathleen has been such an amazing Client hitting each session to her full potential. She has been working with for a little while now and always walks out of the session with nothing left in the tank as she gives every session 100% effort! Jamie said they are working through a strength and conditioning phase and she has been an absolute pleasure to work with and looks forward to many more sessions to come. Congrats Kathleen for being our October client of the month!

Our team partnered up with Walshs again for their health and wellness week in October. We ran some training sessions and also gave some insight into some tips to help them move more around the office. It’s great to see when companies show initiative in helping their employees with their health. We were very greatful to work with Walshs and encouraging the team to find ways to move while in the office. It was a great success for the team and can’t thank the Walshs team enough for their ongoing support.

As we are getting close to wrapping up the year, we thought we would share some of our achievements over the last 5 months.

Clients of the month, June and July

June Client of the Month - Peter Hodgson

Peter has been training at Taps Fitness for a number of years and is very dedicated to his training. Over the last year, Peter has made a conscious effort to attend his PT sessions and in the first half of the year, signed up to the Brisbane to Bay bike ride and spent some time doing some extra bike rides as well as his PT sessions. Juggling a young family and heavy workload, it’s been great to be part of Peter’s health and fitness journey and watching his progress. Peter also rounded up the team at Walshs to take part in the Noosa tri using it as a great tool not only to bring the team together but also to keep fit and healthy. Well done Peter on bring our client of the month.

July Client of the Month - Steve Kirkpatrick


Steven decided to make some big changes in his lifestyle recently and it has been paying off. Changing his way of eating and increasing his exercise frequency, it’s no surprise that he saw some big changes in his body. He dropped 12kg of body weight over a short course of time and has stayed consistent with his healthy eating. It’s been great to work with Steve over the years and always walks out of the session absolutely drenched in sweat. It’s been great to see him make some nutritional changes and watch it pay off. Well done Steve on being our July client of the month!
