Eating by the seasons with Chinese medicine in mind, fresh is best! Avoid colds this Winter by eating warming soups made from bones for the goodness of marrow and what ever seasonal veggies you have in the fridge. Toss in pulses to really boost your protein intake.
Whatβs in season? β’July in Australia.
Support your local farmers, or plant a few seeds & nourish your bodies with what nature provides in season, in abundance for your body, in energy.

Nourish yourself with warm food and drink lots of water; (Avoiding cold in temperature foods and drink) winter sucks the moisture out of your body. It is very important to hydrate by drinking at least 8 to 10 glasses of fresh water daily. Eat warming foods such as root vegetables, whole grains, and small amounts of meat or fish protein. If you are a vegetarian, eat more beans, nuts, and tempeh.
For support during winter, you cannot go past a beautiful acupuncture session to invoke warmth and a sense of being nourished from within. ππ»ββοΈ
