We have a variety of classes to suit the child at their various stages of development.

■Hard Core Kids® – Motor Development - This class is for toddlers through to around 13 yrs and aims to facilitate and optimize postural control, core stability, motor development and co-ordination in growing children.

■Hard Core Kids®- Pilates – This class is for older children and provides specific core stability training, postural education and motor control.

■Hard Core Kids®- Bike riding (holiday programs only)- a functional and fun way of increasing your child’s skills and confidence on their bike. Hard Core Kids ® Bike Program is designed to assist those children having difficulty mastering the skill of bike riding. The classes aim to encompass the multiple components of bike riding including;
■balance in the saddle for falls prevention and to assist with graduating off training wheels,
■upper and lower limb co-ordination for steering,
■leg strength and endurance for riding on different terrains,
■bike safety including effective stopping and starting and
■building confidence with guided practice each day comes increased confidence any enjoyment of bike-riding. An initial individual assessment by one of our physiotherapists is required for all children to determine suitability prior to enrolment in classes. The classes are then incorporated into an individualised program to address the specific needs and goals of your child. Classes run parallel to the school terms and in addition we offer holiday programs throughout the year.

Last week Nicole co-presented with Dr Jacqueline Evans on the importance and value of community based paediatric pain services at the Qld Persistent Pain Clinical Network Forum, at Sunshine Coast University Hospital, Sunshine Coast Health Institute. The pair highlighted the need for chronic pain support, what it should look like and the outcomes of community based care on reflection of their involvement in SKIP and in private practice.

🚨 Proposed NDIS changes will hurt the people who need support most.

Cuts to therapist travel and reduced hourly rates will make it harder for children with disability to access care where they need it most—at home and in the community. These changes don’t just affect therapists—they risk leaving families without vital support.

📢 If these changes would impact you or someone you care for, share your story and let decision-makers know why this matters.

Deep Concern Over NDIS Annual Pricing Review

As professionals working within the NDIS, we deeply concerned by the recent NDIS Annual Pricing Review proposals and their potential impact on the future of allied health services in Australia.

What’s at stake?

- A stretched and undervalued allied health workforce

- The sustainability of businesses that have built trusted relationships with clients

- Most importantly, the quality and accessibility of care for disabled Australians, who rely on consistent, therapeutic supports to live their fullest lives

This isn’t just about numbers—it's about people. People who deserve reliable, expert care. People who depend on a strong, supported workforce to meet their unique needs.

We urge the NDIA to work collaboratively with providers, practitioners and our peak bodies to ensure pricing structures reflect the true cost of service delivery, promote long-term workforce sustainability, and most critically, protect the rights and wellbeing of NDIS participants.
