"Goondir" translates to "Medicine Man" in the local Aboriginal language. That name still carries weight today across 72,000 square kilometres of South West Queensland, where this community-controlled health service is now co-designing a national Indigenous-led digital health model with the University of Queensland and UniSQ, backed by a $500,000 Medical Research Future Fund grant.

This week we're recognising Goondir Health Services as a CheckUP Member.
