Volume up 🔈
The simple moments tend to mean the most ☀️🍃

Pause here for a moment.

observe the clouds passing by in the sky

notice how they move slow, steady and without effort in the breeze

let this be a sign to come back to this moment you’re currently in.

a small moment to pause and observe what’s around you, even if it’s for a few seconds can soften your body and bring a sense of calm into your day.

let this moment move beyond your screen…
step outside for yourself and watch the clouds by and see what shifts within you when you do

Pause for a second… 🌅

Inhale for 4 counts…
Exhale for 4 counts…

Repeat a few more times now on your own.
Let your shoulders drop, and soften your jaw.

How do you feel?
Maybe a little lighter, a little calmer, a little more focused?

Save this for the moments you need to come back to yourself 🤍

Ever notice how much you truely see when you actually slow down?

This weekend, try moving a little slower throughout your day.

When we rush, our mind stays switched on and alert. Slowing down helps your nervous system settle and brings your awareness back to the present moment.

Suddenly you notice the trees reaching tall in the sky above, the details of a flower, or the warmth of the sun on your skin.

The next time you’re waiting in line, sitting at a red light, or waiting for someone to meet up for coffee, observe everything that’s around you, it’s also a great alternative instead of reaching for your phone.

For me, nature and my breath have always been the way that I bring myself back to the moment I’m in. In yoga philosophy, the breath (prana) anchors us to the presence, while awareness (drishti) helps steady the mind and bring us back to the now 🌿

You don’t need more sleep.
You need better rest.

Not scrolling.
Not zoning out.
The kind of rest that actually gives your energy back.

Pick one to commit to each day this week and notice how your body and mind feel when you stick with it. 🙏🏽💛

This weeks practice: the art of slowing down

The art of slowing down isn’t about moving at a snail’s pace, it’s about small, focused shifts.

Because most of us aren’t exhausted from doing too much…
we’re exhausted from doing everything in a rush.

Rushing keeps the nervous system in low-level fight-or-flight.
Even if nothing is “wrong,” your body feels like something is.

Instead of moving at a fast pace, shift gears by

• Walking 10% slower throughout your day
• Pausing to actually taste your coffee or food
• Finishing one task before opening another
• Being fully present in conversations

These are focused shifts, and when the body feels safe, energy returns. When energy returns, peace returns. When peace returns, the day feels somewhat lighter and more freeing.

Slowing down is an art because it’s subtle.

No one sees it.
But you feel it.

And the ripple effect carries through your entire day.

This weeks practice: easing into movement

Movement can happen at any time during our day. You don’t necessarily have to “make time” for it, it can just happen where you are. When you start seeing it this way, it suddenly feels more possible.

☀️ A slow morning walk while the air is still cool (summer here in Aus 🥵)
🧍🏼‍♀️ Standing up between tasks to stretch out the legs
⏸️ Pausing at your desk (or in the car) to roll the shoulders or release the neck
🕺 Dance while you get ready in the morning
🪴 Tending to the garden
🌲 Opting for the stairs on your daily route
🧘🏾‍♀️ Rolling out the mat and flowing through a yoga sequence
📞 Walk around whilst talking on the phone

This week, try noticing when your body is needing some movement and then welcome it in, in small way.

No pressure to hit the gym.
No need to go for a run or hike.
Just move… in ways that actually support you throughout the day.

💬 What kind of movement feels easiest for you right now?

2026
As we begin a new year, it’s easy to place all our energy on our goals, our plans and our aspirations and while these are great to have we often miss the moments already unfolding in front of us.

Each year January rolls around, we place so much pressure on ourselves to get it right the first time, to give 100% and show no sign of giving up. But this can lead to exhaustion and overwhelm before the year is even underway.

So let this be your reminder that it’s okay if you need to pause, take a break, change things up or try again tomorrow.

Because maybe this year is about choosing to reach all your goals at a gentler pace.

Choosing pauses throughout your day.
Choosing rest instead of pushing.
Choosing presence over multitasking.
Choosing to sit with your breath and your thoughts.
Choosing uplifting people and hobbies.
Choosing kindness for yourself and others.
Choosing a pace that allows you to truly thrive.
Choosing to start over again each day.

There’s 359 days of 2026 to yet enjoy…there is still so much time. You get to choose the pace 💛

Save this to come back to throughout the year when you need a reminder ✨
