At Savasana Collective we are a movement of people who are striving for a holistic approach to wellbeing and mental health. This leads us to our name – lets start with Savasana. Savasana is the final pose in yoga- to the untrained eye it may look like an easy pose- people lie in the position known as corpse pose and literally lay down- feet and hands turned out and laying on the back. However Savasana is described by many as the most difficult pose in yoga. It actually requires the person to let go of thoughts and raise levels of awareness and focus. To be here and now. To let go of all tension in the body, all thoughts of the mind and let the spirit be. It is actually the most restorative of all the yoga poses.This reflects our principles…
