Last week TQ joined forces with AgForce Queensland to host the biennial 'Doing Timber Business in Queensland' Conference, bringing together the forest, timber and agroforest sectors to share opportunities, insights and inspiration, particularly with the beef industry.

Our goal was to create a practical and welcoming event that opened the door to honest conversations and real connections, something that was made possible with the help of more than 125 attendees and 16 speakers (including Queensland Minister for Primary Industries, Tony Perrett MP, who spoke candidly to a packed audience at the networking dinner) across 5 amazing venues.

We’d like to thank our speakers for their generosity in sharing their expertise; and to our tour venues and presenters: Aurecon, SigmaBuild, and the teams behind the Wat Thai Buddhraram Temple, including Evolve Constructions, Parker Precision, Stantec, Multinail Australia and Advanced Truss Systems Pty LTD.

This past weekend, we hosted our Points & Prizes Showdown - an auction where the Parker Team used points from our internal rewards system to bid on everything from tools and vouchers to outdoor adventures. It was a great night and a lot of fun for everyone involved! 🏆
