There aren’t really words big enough for this journey… but today we just want to pause and say how proud we are of our little girl.

Through every hospital visit, every treatment, every moment that would shake even the strongest adults — you’ve faced it with a courage that leaves us in awe. You are tougher than we will ever understand, braver than we could ever teach, and stronger than anyone should have to be at your age.

This journey hasn’t been easy. It’s been filled with fear, tears, and moments that felt impossible. But it’s also been filled with love, resilience, and a strength that shines through you every single day.

You’ve shown us what true bravery looks like. You’ve reminded us to hold onto the small moments, to laugh when we can, and to never take a single day for granted.

To my little warrior — you are everything. We are so proud to be your parent, and we will stand beside you through every step of this, no matter what.

And to everyone who has supported us, prayed for us, checked in, and shown love — thank you. It means more than words can ever say.

Today our brave girl is starting round 10 of chemo. 💛

It’s hard to believe how far she’s come already. Through every round, every tough day, and every hurdle, she continues to show a strength beyond her years. We are so incredibly proud of her courage and resilience.

As she begins this next round, we’re focusing on each step forward, knowing she carries that same determination and beautiful spirit with her.

Thank you to everyone who keeps supporting, checking in, and holding her in your thoughts and prayers. It truly means the world to our family.

One step at a time, one day at a time—we’re right beside her every step of the way. 💫

💛✨✨Over the past few days, we’ve been soaking up special moments together—spending time at the park with her big brothers, hopping on the ferry to go get milkshakes (Layla’s favourite), and just enjoying the simple things. She loves nothing more than laughing, playing, and being surrounded by her big brothers✨✨🩷💙💯🙌🏽

✨💛 Yesterday was a special day — Layla was finally reunited with her big brothers, and it meant the world to her 💛✨

Today marks one more day of chemo, and then we get to enjoy the Easter long weekend and make the most of some precious family time. After that, there’s just one more dose on Wednesday, followed by a well-deserved 10-day break before we begin Round 10.

We’re getting closer — only 3 rounds to go 💪💛

During this break, Layla is so excited to spend quality time with her brothers while they’re here. These moments mean everything.

✨💛 A little update for Layla today! 💛✨

Layla had her blood test this morning and her neutrophils are sky high 🙌 which means she’s ready to start Round 9 of chemo — with just 4 rounds to go including this one.💪💛

Even more exciting… only 4 days until she finally gets to see her big brothers 🥹 That means absolutely everything to her and to us.

These moments keep us going 💫

💛✨Round 9 of chemo was meant to begin yesterday, but unfortunately Layla’s neutrophil levels weren’t high enough to start treatment. We now have to wait until Monday for another blood test and are hoping she’ll be able to begin then.

On the bright side, it means we’ve been gifted a few extra days to rest and enjoy the weekend together. Today, we went out for milkshakes — one of Layla’s favourite things to do (right up there with spending time with her brothers). We’ll be seeing them next week, and we truly can’t wait. It will mean so much for all of us to be together again, even if it’s only for a short time.
