Established in 1986 as an importer, distributor and retailer of Merits mobility and healthcare equipment, Scooter World Australia (now Merits Australia) is proudly Australian owned and operated

The current owners, Ian & Yvonne Rothall, purchased Scooter World Australia in November 1998, and have enjoyed building the business based on the principles of

In 2007, with the number of dealers continuing to grow, there was a need to relocate Scooter World Australia Pty Ltd from the office at Welland to a larger warehouse. The current site at Musgrave Ave is situated within 1km of the head office in the western suburbs of Adelaide. In January 2015 a Queensland based warehouse was opened, located within the suburb of Murarrie in Brisbane, providing local supply and distribution to our Northern NSW and Qld dealer network. At all-times merits Australia’s focus is to be recognised as a premium supplier of mobility and healthcare products and to exceeded our customer’s expectations through superior and professional customer service. Merits Health Products Ltd was founded in 1987 to design and manufacture innovative healthcare products for all people who experience mobility and health problems, and today is considered one of the leading product manufacturers. Merits specialises in a variety of products including manual and power wheelchairs, scooters, walkers / rollators, canes, bath benches, commodes and more. With a solid guarantee and a strong warranty, Merits stands firmly behind every mobility product carrying the Merits name. All Merits products comply with regulations of the Therapeutic Goods Association of Australia (TGA) and have been certified by strict international standards such as TUV, ISO, FDA (USA), CE (Europe) and JIS (Japan).

We're excited to share that as part of our commitment to enhancing services and improving efficiency, the Merits warehouse in Moorebank is relocating to a brand-new facility in Eastern Creek.

We commence the warehouse transition process on Monday, 4th March and starting March 11th, 2024, our new address will be:

K Care Healthcare Solutions
2 Shale Place
Eastern Creek, NSW 2766

Our extensive transition planning aims to minimise service disruption, and we appreciate your patience while undertaking this critical business move. Please note that this facility is also the manufacturing and distribution site for K Care Healthcare Solutions in New South Wales.

Our Merits team remains unchanged, and you can reach them using the same contact details.

This relocation aims to improve efficiency, ensuring prompt service with minimal disruption for our valued customers. 📦
