Railtrain Holdings Group is excited to announce our strategic investment in WIRED Overhead Solutions, a respected leader in overhead wiring and traction power services across Australia.

This partnership marks a major milestone for both companies, combining WIRED’s specialist overhead capabilities with Railtrain’s national expertise in track construction and maintenance, signalling, protection, training and surveying —unlocking a true end-to-end rail infrastructure solution.

We are so proud and honoured to announce that WIRED is the winner of the Metropolitan Regional Medium Employer of the Year Training Award 2024.

The nerves were high during last night’s glamorous awards ceremony at Brisbane’s Town Hall - and we were beyond excited to be announced winners in our category.

The journey to developing WIRED’s apprenticeship program has been a long and challenging one, but we are proud to offer an exceptional program that is steadily increasing the number of apprenticeships every year, hand-in-hand with our state-of-the-art training facility.

Thank you to Skills for Queensland for this prestigious award, as well our training partners as TAFE Queensland, BUSY At Work and in helping us to be able to deliver this world class training program.

Together, we are laying the foundation for a brighter future in traction linesperson apprenticeship training.

Recently the WIRED team successfully completed the overhead wiring upgrade at the Wulkuraka Rail Maintenance Facility. Being a part of the new generation rolling stock facility is a moment of immense pride. This milestone is not just about the state-of-the-art infrastructure we've installed, but it's about the people behind this achievement – our group of dedicated professionals who embody teamwork, skill, and unwavering commitment.
