💻 Coming up this Thursday: the next FREE session of Allied Health Perspectives, featuring CEO of AHPA Bronwyn Morris-Donovan, discussing the Allied Health Digital Transformation Survey findings.

On 19 Feb AHPA and the Australian Digital Health Agency released findings from the allied health Digital Transformation Survey. The survey explored uptake and awareness on use of MHR, PCA and prescribing (for relevant disciplines). The findings, predictably, demonstrate low awareness and usage across the sector. Although none of it is surprising, we now have the evidence to build the policy platform for stronger investment into allied health digital infrastructure, tailored education and development of products fit-for-purpose (the obvious example is the MHR does readily accommodate allied health clinical data).

Join Bronwyn Morris-Donovan (CEO of Allied Health Professions Australia) in discussion with Dr Susan Nancarrow as they discuss the findings and their implications. You're invited to be part of this important conversation this Thursday 22 May!

🌐 To RSVP and access the live session, you'll just need to create a free account on The Allied Health Academy platform. For those that can't join us live, the webinars will be recorded and made available on the platform. 💻 Coming up this Thursday: the next FREE session of Allied Health Perspectives, 'Exploring the Experiences of CALD Speech Pathologists in Australia' with guest speaker Lauren Boeyen, speech pathologist and researcher.

Join us for an insightful webinar exploring cultural and linguistic diversity (CALD) in the Australian speech pathology workforce. Research suggests that CALD individuals often experience poorer health outcomes, partly due to healthcare systems designed around dominant culture values. One solution? A more diverse workforce that better reflects the communities it serves.

In this session, Lauren Boeyen will share key findings on the underrepresentation of CALD professionals in speech pathology and why this matters for equitable healthcare. Discover the latest insights, barriers to diversity, and strategies for meaningful change.

Who should attend? Speech pathologists, students, educators, and healthcare professionals interested in workforce diversity and inclusive care.
