Your confidence isn't going to come from changing your body first. It's going to come from changing your relationship with it.

Social media is full of beautiful, advanced poses and trending flows. And honestly, they look amazing. But here's what years of practice has taught me understanding the basics will always serve you better. The breath before the pose.

The alignment before the shape. The moment you stop performing and start listening. That's what yoga and Pilates really are. Not a workout. Not a trend.

A conversation with your own mind and body and over time, that conversation starts to shift things. On the mat and off it.

I did not come to yoga through a certification course. I came through my body.

Seventeen years ago I stepped onto a mat, and something shifted. Quietly. The way things shift when you find something true. The Iyengar tradition taught me how to be honest with my body. How to hold a pose for twenty minutes and still find something new in it.
This is what 17 years gives you. Not a certificate. Lived knowledge.

🔥 Leg day? Arm day? Nope—all day on the Reformer today 😂💪. With ankle & wrist weights on, my muscles were on fireee 🔥🔥 and every move felt like slow-mo torture (the good kind). Body felt heavy but soooo strong & solid.

Then… took the weights off and BAM 💨—suddenly light as a feather 🪶, flying through moves like a Pilates ninja 🥷✨.

Just like practicing without the mirror — no distractions, no comparisons — only inward focus. Closing the eyes in inversion softens the outside noise and opens space to listen deeply to the body.

It’s not about how the pose looks, but how it feels. Breath, balance, and inner stillness become the true guides. 🌿

Yoga reminds us that the clearest reflection isn’t in the mirror — it’s in the quiet conversation with our own body. 🧘‍♀️✨

Another beautiful start to the day 🌄🧘‍♀️

This morning I led another early corporate private yoga session — starting in the quiet stillness of the dark, cold morning… and witnessing the first golden rays of the sunrise fill the space with warmth and light.

There’s something magical about watching that shift — from night to day, cold to warmth. It’s not just nature doing its thing; it feels like hope rising with the sun.

Grateful for these moments. 💛
