The 25th World Congress on Osteoporosis, Osteoarthritis & Musculoskeletal Diseases was recently held in Rome from April 10–13, 2025, bringing together global experts to advance the understanding and treatment of musculoskeletal health. Organised by the International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF) and the European Society for Clinical and Economic Aspects of Osteoporosis and Osteoarthritis (ESCEO), the congress featured latest research and clinical insights.​
In Australia, musculoskeletal disorders, including osteoporosis, now account for over half of the chronic disease burden. The Know Your Bones online self-assessment tool has reached over 120,000 users, empowering Australians to assess their bone health and take proactive steps to prevent fractures.​ (www.knowyourbones.org.au)
