Our last day of testing was the 16th of June, and we have been super busy packing and moving to Southpoint Shopping Centre in Hillsdale (super close to Eastgardens)🚚📦🧳

It was so nice to see everyone drop in and say hi and squeeze in their last eye test before we closed! It is sad to say goodbye for now, but remember we are just on the other line! Our email and phone number will still be working, and all the lovely, friendly team from Broadway will still be there to look after you and your family’s eyes! 🧡🧡

We have moved! Eyecare Plus Broadway Is Now at Hillsdale!📍🗺️

New Address: Southpoint Shopping Centre, Shop 8, 236 – 262, Bunnerong Road Hillsdale NSW 2036

You’ll still be able to contact us on 9211 6635 and email broadway@eyecarekids.com.au. These contact details remain active and diverted to the Hillsdale practice.

All existing patient information and orders will be available at the Hillsdale practice as well.

We regret to inform you that Eyecare Plus Broadway will be closing on 𝟭𝟲 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯 and merging with our Eyecare Kids Hillsdale practice. Our new temporary location will be at Southpoint Shopping Centre, Shop 8, 236 – 262 Bunnerong Road, Hillsdale, NSW 2036.

We want to assure you we are doing everything we can to assist with your eye care during this transition.

📣 6th June will be the last day to get an eye exam

📣15th June will be the last day for spectacles, contact lenses collections and adjustments

📣After which, all patient records and orders will be transferred to our Hillsdale practice (see details below).

May is Macula Month. 👁️👁️

The macula is a small, specialized part of the retina located at the back of the eye that is responsible for central vision, color perception, and fine detail.

It is important to maintain healthy macular function to help prevent age-related macular degeneration (AMD), a common eye condition that primarily affects people over the age of 50 and is a leading cause of vision loss in older adults.

Risk factors for AMD include smoking, poor diet, and a family history of the condition.

We encourage regular eye exams and adopting healthy lifestyle habits to help protect your vision.
