We are calling all community members, volunteers and partner organisations to join us for the 2025 Out of the Shadows Walk on Wednesday 10th September.

Meet us at 6am at the Broken Hill Lifeline Connect Centre, 194 Argent Street.

The Out of the Shadows Walk allows us to remember the lives lost to su***de, and to walk in honour of their memory.

Coffee and breakfast will be provided at Gloria Jeans directly after the walk, and participants are warmly invited to stay around to speak with us and other participants about how we can work together to prevent su***de.

We're seeking a volunteer for our Lifeline Connect Centre in Broken Hill, where you'll help create a welcoming atmosphere, provide information about services, and connect individuals with Lifeline Counsellors. Lifeline Connect joined the Outback Disability Expo at Broken Hill last weekend! 🌟

With inspiring talks from Cody Jones, a champion for disability rights and Indigenous Australians, and over 30 local services present, it was a fantastic day of community engagement.

Thanks to all who got involved and made the day a huge success. We are looking forward to the next Outback Disability Expo! 💙
