Stand with us, stand for them!

I’m not sure if asking karma to right the wrongs
isn’t a wrong in itself.
Because when we wish pain upon another,
even if they earned every ounce of it,
aren’t we still the ones
inviting pain into the room?

Is karma a boomerang,
or is it a mirror?
or scissors!

Is it not some vengeful spirit in the sky,
but the quiet switch within—
the one that cuts the cord
and frees us
from the weight of what they did?

Maybe karma doesn’t chase them.
Maybe it finds us
when we finally stop chasing back.
When we realise
retaliation is irrelevant
and healing is holy.

Growth is not a battlefield.
It’s a choice to rise without dragging the past behind.
To untether the grief,
to stop writing their name
into the story of who we’re becoming.

So I lay this down.
I walk forward.
And I do not look back.
Not because they didn’t harm me—
but because I refuse
to keep carrying what they never had the right to hand me.

This is not surrender.
This is soul reclamation.
This is karma—
as in our peace.

I’m not sure if it was the head or the heart that missed the red flag—
a crimson thread I stitched into hope,
thinking love could make it soft.
But promises…
they were never built to be kept.
Just scaffolds of illusion,
propped up by charm and silence.

You called me broken
while standing in the ruins you made.
The pot calling the kettle mentally ill—
diagnosing me with the damage you delivered,
then cloaking yourself in madness
as if your wounds were a weapon,
as if your pain could excuse the cuts you carved in mine.

You took—
my money.
My power.
My name.
My pride.

Did you take what I had to give?
Or did I give what you could never grow?

Truth is,
you never had the hands to hold love,
only the hunger to consume it.
And I,
in all my fierce believing,
mistook your appetite for affection.

I Can Only Be Me

We are who we are at every stage of our lives.

Even in the messiest, most uncertain moments — we are still us. Not broken. Not wrong. Just in the middle of becoming.
Sometimes life gets heavy. And sometimes, it hurts.
But that doesn’t mean we’re failing. It means we’re working through it.

The truth is — how others choose to treat you is out of your hands.
That reflection? That’s them, not you.
Your worth isn’t defined by their actions, their silence, or their judgment.

Change is hard.
It’s uncomfortable because it requires breaking habits that once felt like safety.
It takes time and effort to rewire your thoughts — to stop looping on the same pain, the same story.
But the moment you choose to be kinder to yourself, to measure yourself by your own growth instead of someone else’s expectations… you begin to take your power back.

If someone ever gives up on you, don’t ever give up on yourself.
Think of those who depend on you.
Hold your ground. Stay strong. You are not alone — and your presence in this world matters more than you know.

You are allowed to feel.
To want to yell when you’ve been hurt so badly you don’t know where to put the ache.
But the greatest act of strength?
Channeling that pain into something positive.
Replacing the thoughts that tear you down with ones that lift you gently.
Reminding yourself that everyone has faults — and those who can’t accept yours were never truly your people.

I choose not to shrink in the face of change.
I choose to keep walking — even if it’s slow.
I choose to see those who do gather with me, who stand beside me — and I recognize their light, their courage, their love.

And I remind myself…
Like I said —
I can only be me.
