Lower back pain and “sciatica” tend to spike around this time of year 🍂
After a relaxed summer of walking, surfing and moving more, many people suddenly return to long desk hours, busy work schedules and heavier gym training and the spine feels the shift.
“Sciatica” (lumbar radiculopathy) happens when a nerve in the lower back becomes irritated, often causing pain into the buttock or leg, tingling, numbness or weakness.
The good news? Most cases improve quickly with the right diagnosis, hands-on treatment and a targeted strength plan focusing on the core, glutes and spinal control.
If your back pain isn’t settling, your leg feels weak or numb, or flare-ups keep coming back, it may be time to get it checked.
Early treatment = faster recovery.
