Vipassana Meditation Brookton and Perth, Western Australia

Vipassana Meditation Brookton and Perth, Western Australia Vipassana Meditation as taught by S.N. Goenka, in the tradition of Sayagyi U Ba Khin. Vipassana means to see things as they really are. https://goo.gl/maps/Wde1z.

Ten-day courses in this ancient meditation practice are offered in every state of Australia, in New Zealand and in many countries all over the world. The technique is a pure science of mind and matter. It is also an art of living, an antidote to all the stresses and strains of life. It provides a deep pool of peace and harmony within, and ultimately leads to the end of suffering. There are no char

ges for the courses, because the technique itself is invaluable. All costs are covered by donations from previous students. To apply, please review the Code of Discipline at http://dhamma.org.au/, and find a course scheduled at your most convenient location. Information is also available in other languages. The Western Australian centre located in the Shire of Brookton is called Dhamma Padipa. The centre location is shown here.

Our principal Vipassana meditation Teacher, S.N. Goenka, passed away 6 years ago on September 29, 2013. His life's mission of spreading the teachings of pure Dhamma was permeated by a deep sense of gratitude to all those who had enabled him to receive these teachings. It was driven by a volition to repay this debt of gratitude by enabling others to receive these teachings in their pure form.

For this anniversary of Goenkaji's passing, let us remember and be inspired by him:

'To those who came before, let us feel gratitude.

And to those still waiting for the Dhamma, let us develop metta, the wish to serve without expecting anything in return.'

'There are no short cuts to happiness, no quick fixes or magic beans – this is made abundantly clear from the get-go. But the course’s deliberate intensity is enough to give you the faintest glimpse of the possible rewards should you continue to practise.'
