A heartfelt thank you to Peter Millson for beautifully painting Mother Armenia in honour a remembrance of the 1915 Armenian Genocide.

His incredible talent and thoughtful tribute have created a meaningful symbol of strength, resilience and remembrance for our residents, families, staff and the entire Armenian community.

As we reflect on the lives lost, the stories carried through generations, and the enduring spirit of the Armenian people, this beautiful artwork stands as a powerful reminder the we remember, we honour and we will never forget.

Today, we pause to remember and honour the 1.5 million Armenians who lost their lives during the Armenian Genocide of 1915.
We stand together with our Armenian community in remembrance of those who suffered, those who survived and those who carried the strength and resilience of our culture through generations.
We remember the stories, the pain, the courage and the enduring spirit of the Armenian people.
