Today, we celebrate the simple yet powerful act of saying “Hello!”. One small greeting can brighten someone’s day, spark a conversation, or even start a connection that lasts a lifetime.

Mells Care supports this day and encourages everyone to greet at least ten people today, whether it’s friends, colleagues, or even strangers – because kindness and connection start with a simple hello.

Today, the Mells Care team and our participants proudly wear red to support the Day for Daniel "Daniel Morcombe Foundation" Australia’s largest child safety education and awareness day.

This important day reminds us of the need to keep our communities safe by empowering children and young people to Recognise, React, and Report unsafe situations.

We’re proud to stand together with our participants, families, and the community to honour Daniel Morcombe’s legacy and continue spreading awareness about child safety.

Come say hi and chat with us about joining the Mells Care team. We’re looking for Support Workers and Lawn & Maintenance Officers.

Support Workers help people with disabilities live their best lives and stay independent.

Lawn & Maintenance Officers keep outdoor areas safe and tidy — mowing, weeding, cleaning, and helping with small repairs.
