Big news. After 17 years in Broome, a new adventure is calling. 🌴

We are moving to Bali and from here on, all client sessions will be online.

📅 Last in-person day: Saturday 23rd May
💻 Online sessions resume: Monday 22nd June

To my Broome clients, five years in business with you has been something else. We've had laughs, tears, and a fairly impressive amount of swearing along the way. Some days I out did myself 😂 It has been an absolute privilege. You know who you are.🩵
I thought there would of been more time to wrap things up but its all been moving quickly and we will gone by the end of the month ✈️

For anyone wondering, online sessions are just as effective as in person. The work is the same, the results are the same, and honestly your couch is probably more comfortable than mine. Bali also sits on the same timezone as WA, so nothing changes there either.

Procrastination isn't laziness. It's perfectionism wearing a disguise.
The belief that you can't start until everything is right, right time, right place, right version of you. This isn't a high standard. It's usually a fear of judgement, or being found out, or simply not feeling good enough.

And your logical brain knows this. Yet every day you stay stuck, the task gets bigger, the self criticism louder. Lazy. Unmotivated. Useless. The loop tightens.

Progress exists. Perfect doesn't.

When your brain has been trained to associate action with risk of failure, waiting and putting it off feels safer than starting. That's not a mindset problem, it's a neurological one. Which is why thinking, criticising or shaming your way out rarely works.

Hypnotherapy and neurotherapy techniques work at the source, not the symptom. Clients retrain the fear response driving the hesitation and move into self directed action, often faster than they expect.

🌟 Understanding Emotional Eating 🌟
Many of us experience it but may not fully understand emotional eating or why we do it.

This is when we turn to food not just for hunger, but as a way to cope with feelings like stress, sadness, boredom, loneliness and anxiety... Eating emotions

👉 So why do we emotionally eat?

1. Stress Relief: Life can be overwhelming, and food can feel like a comforting escape.

2. Boredom:Sometimes we eat out of sheer habit or to fill a void, unfulfilled. We look for a distraction.

3. Loneliness: Eating can become a way to fill the emptiness or a sense of companionship
4. Traditions:Many of us associate certain foods with memories or experiences, leading to eating for comfort or feeling safe.
If you find yourself eating when you're not truly hungry, it may be helpful to explore, identify and shift through the emotional loop running that habit.

The negotiation starts around 3pm.
By 5pm you've told yourself you've earned it. Just one.
By 3am you're awake, wondering why you did it again.

This is shadow drinking.
It's not rock bottom. Its the glass or three you pour every night to turn off the stress, while making dinner, helping with homework, managing everything on your plate or to fill the alone. It fits into your life because you can multitask relief.
