Sacro-occipital technique, or SOT, is a gentle, holistic chiropractic technique suitable for everyone! Dr. Isla uses this technique alongside manual chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue work and other techniques, meaning she can tailor her care to your needs and preferences ☺️

SOT aims to balance the relationship between the pelvis and the head. It uses blocks, or wedges, placed in specific spots under the pelvis, along with gentle pressure and stretching to align the body, aiming to eliminate pain and tension, improve posture and balance.

Meet Dr Isla! A country girl at heart, Dr Isla grew up in the Wheatbelt on her family’s farm, and is excited to bring her experience to the Kimberley and provide exceptional chiropractic care to the Broome community!

Dr. Isla focuses on long-term health and vitality. Taking a holistic approach, she addresses the root causes of symptoms, restores functional movement, and supports the nervous system so patients can thrive at every stage of life.

She uses a range of techniques tailored to each individual’s needs, including manual chiropractic adjustments and more gentle balancing technique SOT (Sacro-Occipital Technique).

HUGE NEWS - we have a new female Chiro starting at !

Dr. Isla Cooke is an experienced Chiropractor who’s previously worked at the very highly regarded Fremantle Chiropractic. She was looking for a sea change, and what better place to land than beautiful Broome ☀️

Isla will be joining CBC on October 2nd, so we’ll be closed for a couple of weeks then back open. Online booking is now open - feel free to either head online to our website to book, or send us a message and we’ll find you a time 🤗

We’re so excited to have Dr. Isla join the team - Dr Matt’s last day is this Wednesday and he’s almost fully booked, last slots available online!

This week is a full week at CBC; next Wednesday is our last day 😭

Today is filled booked and this week is booking up fast! Get your appointment in ASAP for your last adjustment or two with Dr Matt 🥳

But don’t worry - we’re still contactable, our website will still run and email will still be answered, so if you need anything (notes, recommendations…) feel free to get in touch!

And Dr Steph is back at work at in Perth, so if you need a tune up there feel free to book in.

Dear CBC community,

I have some sad news to share — Cable Beach Chiropractic will be closing its doors.

Dr. Matt has been offered a wonderful ownership opportunity nearer to home that’s too good to pass up, and I’m super excited for him to be moving into the next chapter of his career! Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to secure another chiropractor to take his place.

Matt’s last day in clinic will be Wednesday 20th August. Everything will continue as normal until then - please book your spot as soon as possible so you don’t miss out on an adjustment in these last couple of weeks!

We’ll be posting more updates - for now, I’m sorry that we couldn’t provide the continuity of care I had hoped to maintain here in Broome. We’ve been so grateful for your support over last couple of years - it’s been a joy to be part of your lives and a privilege to care for you.
