📣 Important Update for Our Clients

To continue providing the best possible care and ensure appointment times remain available for families who need them, Kimberley Maternity will be introducing a non-attendance and cancellation fee. A minimum of two hours’ notice is required if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Without this notice, a $75.00 fee will apply.

We understand that life with pregnancy, newborns, and families can be unpredictable, so extenuating or special circumstances will always be considered. Please contact our reception team to discuss your situation.

New Year celebrations often come with loud fireworks, bright lights, and busy crowds. If you’re pregnant, here are a few gentle reminders to help you stay comfortable and safe while enjoying the festivities:

💛 Listen to your body
If the noise, lights, or crowds feel overwhelming, it’s perfectly okay to step away and find a quieter spot.

🌿 Stay hydrated
Warm nights, excitement, and activity can sneak up on you. Keep a water bottle close and sip regularly.

🪑 Take breaks
Standing for long periods can make you tired or light-headed. Give yourself permission to sit, rest, and enjoy the moment at your own pace.

👟 Choose comfort
Wear supportive shoes and comfy clothes to help reduce strain, especially if you’ll be out for a while.

✨ Know your exit plan
If you start feeling unwell or uncomfortable, it helps to know where you can go to sit, cool down, or head home early.

💛 Our Wednesday 31 December clinic is now fully booked.
The clinic will rest with the community on New Year’s Day, Thursday 1 January 2026, and reopen on Saturday 3 January 2026 with full support and care.
