📢 Free Diphtheria Vaccines Now Available in Broome 📢

In response to the current outbreak, state-funded diphtheria vaccines (DTpa/dTpa) are now available to more people in Western Australia.

If you haven’t had a diphtheria vaccine in the past 5 years, you can now get it for free if you are:
- A resident (Aboriginal or non-Aboriginal) in the Kimberley, Pilbara, or Goldfields regions.
- A worker with regular face-to-face contact with Aboriginal communities in these regions (including healthcare and frontline workers).

Vaccines remain free statewide as part of National Immunisation Program for:
- Infants & Children: At 6 weeks, 4, 6, and 18 months, and 4 years.
- Adolescents: In Year 7 (up to age 20).
- Pregnant Women: Ideally between 20–32 weeks of each pregnancy.

The WA Government’s free flu vax program is almost here, and we have spots available. Here is everything you need to know:

✨ It’s 100% FREE for everyone aged 2 years and older from 1 May to 30 June at our pharmacy. This includes people without Medicare cards as well as interstate and international visitors.

✨ Have little ones? We have the needle-free nasal spray version available for eligible children!

Say hi to Sara! 👋

Sara has been calling Broome home for the past year and a half, and she is absolutely loving it! She is a big fan of the peaceful lifestyle, the friendly locals, and the calm, happy feeling that makes Broome so special. 🌴

Outside of work, Sara makes the most of the beautiful coastal life. Her perfect day involves heading to the water and taking in the famous Cable Beach sunsets. She also has a creative side and loves experimenting with makeup in her free time! 🌅💄

At work, Sara brings that same positive energy to the pharmacy. The Northpharm team feels like a second family to her, making every workday something she genuinely looks forward to.
