Brisbane Secure Bollards have done it again...

Here we have our 140mm in-ground concrete-filled bollards installed to protect this shop front.

Each bollard is set 400mm below ground with reinforced concrete footings, standing 1200mm above ground.

Built with a 5mm wall thickness and filled solid with concrete, these bollards provide maximum strength and security.

Whether it’s stopping ram raids, protecting assets, or keeping staff and customers safe – ain’t nothing getting through that.

About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable team member to assist with the installation of bollards, including in-ground, surface mount, and removable types. The role involves on-site work, operating tools and machinery, and assisting with general labour tasks.
You’ll be working alongside an experienced team, using our own fleet of vehicles and equipment—including water and power supply systems, vac truck, and concrete cutting gear.

Key Responsibilities:
* On-site bollard installation across Brisbane and surrounds
* Concrete cutting, core drilling, and vacuum excavation
* Site clean-up and basic finishing work
* Operating power tools and equipment safely
* Following safety procedures and installation plans
* Communicating clearly with the team and clients

Requirements:
* Must have full driver’s licence to drive Company Truck
* Construction White Card

Today our team installed five 140mm diameter in-ground bollards with concrete footings on an asphalt surface.

We began by marking out each bollard location to meet site specifications. Using our vac truck, we carefully excavated each hole to avoid damaging any underground services and to provide clean, precise footings.

Once the holes were prepared, we positioned the bollards at the correct height and alignment. Each bollard was then set securely in concrete, providing a strong, durable foundation built to withstand vehicle impact.

These heavy-duty bollards offer excellent protection while maintaining a professional finish across the asphalt area.

Completed Installation – Surface Mount Bollards

We recently installed two 114mm surface mount bollards to protect external air-conditioning units.

These bollards were securely fixed into the existing concrete to create a strong, visible barrier.

As part of the job, we also carried out concrete repairs where old damaged bollards had been removed—leaving the area clean, safe, and reinforced.
