💻 In celebration of World Menopause Day on 18 October, the APodA was delighted to welcome Dr Nicky Keay to host our 'Hormone Health Matters' webinar.
As both a sports endocrinologist and a former dancer, Dr Keay brought a unique blend of scientific insight and lived experience to her discussion on the pivotal role of hormones in health and performance.
Focusing on women’s health and the physiological changes that occur throughout life, Dr Keay explored how understanding hormonal fluctuations can empower practitioners in caring for their patients.
She emphasised the importance of harnessing hormones through balanced nutrition, adequate recovery, and a holistic approach to care.
Attendees came away with valuable strategies for supporting patients through all stages of hormonal transition, in particular navigating treatment plans for menopausal women with compassion and care.
