β™Ύ IN A LOOP β™Ύ We all have thousands of thoughts each day. Scientists and psychologists estimates range from 20,000 – 70,000. Regardless, we have LOTS of them! 🧠The mind has a tendency to loop thought patterns over and over (called rumination), so the content of our thoughts tends to be repetitive. Our minds are constantly wandering into the future and back into the past. It is our mind’s default setting. This is what we as adults are managing and it’s also what children are dealing with. Add a little stress, feelings of being overwhelmed and pressure without the skills to check in, regulate and be present and we've got the perfect recipe for emotional and physical fatigue. ➑️Insert mindfulness! We incorporate mindfulness into every lesson here at Mindful Little Beings. Let’s give kids the tools to slow down and remain calm in a hurry up world πŸ§˜πŸ½β€β™‚οΈ

🧠 Your mind is a supercomputer and your self-talk is the program it will run 🧘🏽 Your brain 🧠, your bodyπŸ§πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈand your mindset πŸ’­ are heavily influenced by the quality of your self-talk. The things you say to yourself and the way you feel about yourself have a big impact and are incredibly powerful. πŸ’ͺ🏽 Positive self-talk is kind, supportive and affirming. It sounds like this β€œI’m making progress”, β€œI’ll keep trying” or even β€œI can learn from my mistakes”. 😁

Positive self-talk boosts confidence, helps you succeed in sports, gets you through challenging times and can improve relationships. 🌈

At Mindful Little Beings we’re truely devoted to supporting the development of the inner child. 🧘🏽 We spend a LOT of time inside our head, let’s ensure it’s a pleasant place to be for our little beings ✨
