Even when I am away from the ocean I make sure I get into the water. My body instantly responds to the experience in a positive way. Life is just better with a salty fix!

Surfing always comes first! we always said that surfing should come first. I've worked on other projects before which were about surfing but ended up cutting into my surf time, but never again!
Side comment:
Actually this wave was a steeper wave then I would normally take off on but I was on a foamy so it felt forgiving! My pop up is so longboard orientated that I really need to focus when I'm on a shorter board.
Does surfing come first for you?

I always have to remember that no matter how old I feel that this is the last day I will be this young! Things may seem hard now but I'll look back and think - wow those were the good days!

On a recent trip to Lombok scouting retreat locations (which was a super fun thing to do) we scored some great waves at Gerupuk. What a great way to end 2025. Although there were some other highlights like kicking frozen shoulder and doing my Wave 1 Freediving course, swimming with whales and ocean dancing all feature up there!
I love my life! Thanks to all of you in it 💙💙💙

No prizes for guessing what that is for me! I'm just completing a course in Ocean Therapy and I'm learning that the benefits are not just a "feeling" but they are real and based in science. I'll share more of the benefits later.
