Vale Wayne Cranstoun

It is with great sadness that we inform our community of the loss of one of our very own Paramedics, Wayne, affectionately known by many as the Silver Fox or Mr C.
Wayne has made an impact on the St John Ambulance family proudly serving decades, many of those years in Busselton.
He has no doubt touched so many lives in our community, a caring, compassionate and professional asset to not only us but you.
A proud family man, a true gentleman, a professional and someone we looked up to.
If you know Wayne or had the privilege of him attending to your medical emergencies, you will know what a loss this has been.
Wayne fought a brave journey for such a long time but unfortunately he lost the battle with loved ones at his side.

RIP Wayne.

Edith Cowan University (ECU) paramedicine students Mikaela Muller and Nicholas Durrant have undertaken a two-week placement at the two Bunbury sub centres thanks to collaborations between ECU, St John WA, and Department of Rural Health South West.

They're getting hands on experience, seeing what the teams encounter day-to-day, and combining their theory and practical knowledge with the team.

We hope they have a blast and feel more inspired than ever to continue their studies.
