Change to Medical Software
We wish to advise that we will be changing our medical software. From Monday 24 April we will be using Best Practice, this will allow GP’s to be able to provide electronic scripts (e scripts) which will be sent as an SMS or email, it will also allow for instant Medicare rebates, rather than the previous 24-48 hour wait.
From Thursday 20 April until Monday 24 April, we will be unable to submit claims electronically to Medicare, this will only affect patients that are privately charged. If you wish to submit a Medicare claim online using either:
• your Medicare online account through myGov
• the Express Plus Medicare mobile app.
We appreciate your patience and understanding during the next few months as we navigate our way through!

Despite our best efforts COVID has hit our practice and staff hard this week.
With some doctors already on planned leave and others now isolating, we will need to run a limited service (similar to our Christmas hours) for this next week or so. Face-to-face consultations will be restricted to those requiring more urgent care with limited Telehealth services depending upon doctor availability. If you have respiratory symptoms especially if you think they may be COVID related, you may wish to attend a GP respiratory clinic. Appointments will be unable to be booked online, you will need to call the office on 9380 1384 to book.

We have appointments available for 1st, 2nd or Booster Pfizer vaccinations (16 years up) on Tuesday 8, Thursday 10 or Saturday 19 February. ATAGI has announced that people aged 16-17 are now eligible for a booster, 3 months after a 2nd dose.

We also have availability for Kids Pfizer (5-11 years) 1st or 2nd (2nd at least 8 weeks after 1st) doses on Wednesday 9 February 4:00pm - 5:00pm, Monday 14 February 4:00pm - 5:30pm, Monday 4 March 4:00pm - 5:30pm, Wednesday 9 March 3:30pm - 5:00pm, Monday 21 March 4:00pm - 5:00pm and Monday 28 March 4:00pm - 5:30pm.

You do not need to be a registered patient of the practice to attend, please let any family, friends and neighbors know, we are happy to provide vaccinations to anyone who is eligible.

COVID Vaccination Booster Appointments Available
We have appointments for 3rd booster doses (Pfizer) on Saturday 30 October onwards.
If you are aged 18 and over and had your 2nd dose 6 months ago, you are now eligible for a booster. If you are immune compromised (undergoing current cancer treatment, on high dose prednisolone or on methotrexate medication for arthritis) you can have one 2 months after your 2nd dose.
Bookings can be made for people not registered with the practice.
