If you're planning on pregnancy now or in the new year, consider how you can best prepare your body for a positive result.

In our daily lives we are exposed to many hidden toxins, quite often in foods, products and our environment. Toxins impact both female and male fertility and can also negatively impact foetal development.

I encourage you to educate yourself so you can make the best choices during your fertility journey. Read my latest blog to help boost your fertility or join me for a free webinar on Wednesday, 6th December from 7pm to learn more about minimising toxins for fertility by heading to my website to read blog or register for webinar here: https://cerulean-constrictor.webinarninja.com/live-webinars/10502893/register

Don’t try and fix others….just hug 🤗

Don’t try and fix others….just hug 🤗

Imagine if when you were crying growing up instead of “stop your crying” you got a hug. And a little rub on your back.

Imagine when a friend came to you with something so stressful, instead of the impulse to give advice, you just grabbed their hand and told them “I’m here to listen.”

Imagine when you felt sad or down (for no “apparent” reason)—someone you loved wrapped their arms around you and gave you a big hug.

Human touch is one of the greatest healers.

We overlook it.

And yet every inch of our body is meant to co-regulate with everything and everyone around us.

We want to talk and think our way out of everything.

It’s time to soothe each other. Pause with each other. And stop expecting ourselves to be machines.

More hugs, less advice

Pinpointing your peak fertile days will help you achieve pregnancy faster. How can you do that?

Monitor your menstrual cycle and keep track of the details on a calendar. Count the first day of your period as day 1. This will help you identify how long your cycle is. A regular cycle is usually 28-30 days.

However, many women’s menstrual cycles range from 24 to 35 days, which can make ovulation hard to predict. Some signs you can use to monitor your fertile time and pinpoint ovulation more accurately include:

🌸 Mucous changes: an increase in mucous produced which appears stretchy and similar to egg white is a sign of ovulation.

🌸 Body temperature: monitor your basal body temperature at the same time each day.

🌸 Blood tests: can help determine your progesterone levels, which is a hormone needed for ovulation, a regular menstrual cycle, egg production and fertilisation.

If you are unsure how to identify your peak fertile days, or are struggling to get pregnant, I encourage you to seek professional support. Book an appointment for personalised support in person at Brunswick Health or via telehealth, visithttps://thepregnancynaturopath.com.au/.

For those working full time, there is also availability on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings.
