I’ve been giving the space a little re-jig recently in preparation for acupuncture (yay!). Turns out my previous set up wasn’t quite right for my new offering. I’ve also restocked crystals and incense just for you.

✨ Happy Lunar New Year! ✨

Giddy-up, 2026 is the year of the Fire Horse in Chinese astrology! Are you ready to gallop forward?

The energy of this year will no doubt feel like a (very!) welcome change of pace. 2025’s Wood Snake year was all about completions, transformation and, just like the snake, shedding our old skin. Relentless change was a big theme in clinic last year 🐍

We enter 2026 renewed, and ready for action. A good time for new challenges and embracing passion and joy, the trick is to not always be galloping! Excess fire can intensify the emotions. Balanced pace, flexibility and sufficient rest will ensure you don’t get overwhelmed or burn out.

Onward and upward, yeehaa! 🔥🐴

YES … you can return your used flower essence bottles to clinic! And you’ll totally make my day if you do 😍

I’m such an eco-nerd that nothing brings me more joy than reuse and recycling!

When I have enough empties, I soak, remove labels and sterilise. And, voila, a batch of fresh bottles ready to fill.

Unfortunately I can’t sterilise and reuse the droppers. But rest assured, I recycle the bits than can be.

You’re also welcome to bring your bottle back for a refill of the same flower essence blend.

And the first beautiful something … I’m back from summer break and clinic 2026 is OPEN. Hurrah!!

✨Reflecting on an EPIC week ✨

… I did it!! After 8 long years I can put the Dr (of Acupuncture) coat on for real now 👩‍⚕️ And add a few more letters after my name ~ BHSci(AcuTher). Because there’s not enough letters already hehe.

This was a seriously long and arduous journey and I almost pulled the pin a few times. I’m very glad I persisted though. Acupuncture definitely feels like a calling, and now I get to share its magic to you!

The last week of Acupuncture school was bitter-sweet. I was lucky enough to see my lovely regular clients (and my favourite room -3.32!) for a final student clinic treatment and farewell. There was joy and sadness farewelling my dear fellow students and amazing lecturers/clinic supervisors.

To acknowledge US, the class of 2025 celebrated with a fancy and delicious Mexican dinner at Mesa Verde. What a perfect way to put a full stop to the end of this wild journey!

So how does it feel? Welllll….today it landed. Instead of going to the city for student clinic, I had brekkie in bed, received a cosmetic acupuncture glow up and took a nourishing stroll along the Yarra. Feeling relief, happy and proud. Huge thanks to everyone for the cheers and support along the way!!👏🥳

Day 2,821 of becoming an Acupuncturist 👩‍⚕️

I’m in the FINAL MONTH of my Acupuncture training at ! This marathon journey began in 2018 and has been slow going alongside clinic (with a few lockdowns and a course re-structure to slow progress a bit more!)

🌼 blooms of brunswick 🌼
Spotted on a lunchtime stroll, these wattle flowers are like lil balls of sunshine and joy, don’t you think?

It’s giving ‘Sunshine Wattle’ Australian Bush Flower Essence vibes, even though it’s a different plant. This flower essence supports optimism, joy and the ability to see the beauty in the present. DM if you’d like some!

Amethyst is one of my all time favourite crystals 💎

Called ‘zi ying shi’ (true purple stone) in Chinese, Amethyst in Chinese medicine harmonises the Wood and Earth elements - I hold it on specific acupoints to help reduce stress and stress related digestive issues, tension and confusion.

It’s ✨winter solstice✨ today here in the southern hemisphere. Yep, that’s the shortest day/longest night of the year.

Symbolically, winter solstice represents renewal, rebirth and the return of the light. The energy of today supports slowing down, contemplation and releasing what no longer serves. Step into the new! I think a lil sit down in the sun or nature wander on this sunny winter day would do nicely ☀️
