I'll be taking a break over Christmas and New years and will be back in the clinic for online/telephone appointments from the 7th of January 2022; last orders for herbs to be sent via post will be Monday 13th December.

What could your pregnancy cravings mean? 🤰🤔 Whilst you might feel like you could demolish a whole chocolate cake, your body may actually be trying to tell you that it wants more of a particular nutrient – or some extra TLC! 💕 What do you crave? Talk to your health practitioner to decode some of these common cravings.

This week is National Herbal Medicine Week!

To celebrate we are sharing our love of herbal medicine and encouraging everyone to try it out! It is always best to seek the guidance of a qualified natural health practitioner such as a Naturopath or Herbalist before starting any new herbal medicine.

An initial consultation usually takes around an hour, and is much more in depth than you may be used to! The practitioner will ask lots of questions about your current health, your health history and your diet and lifestyle. They will probably do some basic physical examinations such as checking your blood pressure.

Most importantly, the practitioner will work with you to identify your health goals, and come up with a plan to achieve them. This will likely involve the use of herbal medicines such as teas, tinctures or tablets, plus dietary and lifestyle advice.
