Check out neurobiologist Dr. Andrew Huberman's lowdown regarding anything ni****ne related. Here are some of the things that I have learned from listening to this episode.

Va**ng is more addictive than smoking as the speed of which the dopamine is being released in the brain determines the addictive potential and va**ng is much faster in hitting the brain than smoking. Va**ng is also harder to quit!

Most people who smoke (70-75%) would actually like to give up.
The success rate of people trying to quit is extremely low though - at least when trying for the first time (around 5% succeed).

If you make it through week one of giving up, your chances of long term success are much, much higher.

Hypnosis is one of the best interventions that helps people quit by not fully understood processes in the brain regarding rewiring neurocircuits long term!

This is a must listen!

In this episode, I explain how ni****ne impacts the brain and body, including its potent ability to enhance attention, focus, and alertness, increase blood p...

A neuroscientist explains .
"Research shows that a regular mindfulness practice significantly weakens the amygdala’s ability to hijack your emotions. This happens in two ways. First, the amygdala decreases in physical size. Second, connections between the amygdala and the parts of the cortex associated with fear are weakened, while connections associated with higher-order brain functions (i.e. self-awareness) are strengthened."
