Ahtee Chia have been teaching Taiji since 1982 and had been a presenter of Taiji workshops at the Woodford Folk Festival for almost 20 years, and have also been invited to present workshops at the 'Tai Chi, Wushu, and Qigong in Today's world, in 2018 and 2019 at Macqurie University, organised by the Wushu Council Australia. He had been trained by the foremost Taiji Masters in the world included Master Howard Choy who studied under Grand Master Yang Shauchoong, the son of Yang Chengfu who is the originator of Yang Style Tai Chi which is practised by millions in the world. Ahtee then studied Chen Style Tai Chi from Master Luo Guohua in Kwangchau, China. In 1988 he had private lessons with Master Wang XiAn in Wen Xian in Henan, China. He also had private lessons for 2 years with Grand Master Chen Xiaowang, the present linage holder of the original form of Chen Style Taiji Quan that the other styles of Taiji is derived from.
