MLS laser therapy is a non-invasive pain relief and healing treatment that uses two specific wavelengths of light—905nm and 808nm—to stimulate cellular activity, increase blood flow, reduce inflammation, and promote soft tissue repair for various musculoskeletal conditions and injuries.

This flu season we've found great results with using the laser on inflammed sinuses and ear pain in children . As patients start to recover from sickness but some symptoms may be lingering, it's helped to push the healing along.

Tummy time at the park! That head and neck control is getting stronger. The more tummy time we do throughout the day, the longer he likes to stay in tummy time.
This leads to a stronger neck, good head control and strong back --> which then aids in crawling and coordination of arms & legs --> which then creates a stronger back to help bub stand up!

Tummy Time for new borns. It is so important to encourage your little one to get used to being on their bellies. Remember the goal is to do it as frequently as possible throughout the day. On the floor, on your lap, when you're standing hold them face down on your arms, on daddy's chest as you're relaxing. There are many opportunities, look out for them!

Doing tummy time for 1minute several times a day is better than doing it for 5mins once a day.

In the long run as your bub gets stronger time is important too, but this will increase as they enjoy it.

If you're finding your bub is uncomfortable and unhappy doing tummy time send me a message to see if we can figure out why as there can be many different reasons.
