Osteopathy is for animals too. I treat cats and dogs who have been injured or getting on and having mobility issues. Even puppies and kittens can have early issues resulting from traumatic births and I would treat them in the same way I'd treat a human baby. www.rogerkingston.com

After the terrible events in Sydney yesterday it seems appropriate to share this. Remember who was killed and what they were celebrating. The events are simply awful and its not representative of the Australia we know.

Happy Hanukkah from the AAO 🕎

⚠️EXTREME FORECAST ALERT FOR TODAY - SEQLD, CQLD & NENSW ***Please read it is important, Please share & tag family & friends***
đź”´A surface trough will become established during the morning along the ranges in NENSW (Northern Rivers) & SEQLD (South East Coast, Wide Bay Burnett) extending back into the CQLD inland.
🔴A very hot westerly airmass will feed into the back of this trough. (Red Lines) Conditions along and to the east of this trough will be extremely humid with very warm temperatures reaching the mid 30’s early in the day. A strong temperature inversion (CAP) will be at breakpoint much earlier in the day due to the extreme energy levels, steep lapse rates and lifted instability.
đź”´A rapid eruption of explosive storms are likely to occur meaning start to severe intensity within a very short time frame. Numerous storms are likely to be severe with Large Hail 2-5cms, Damaging Winds over 90km/h, Heavy Rain and Frequent Lightning. Some isolated Very Dangerous Storms or Supercells are also likely with risks of Giant Hail 5-13cms, Destructive Winds over 125km/h , Heavy Rain & Frequent Lightning (Black circled area).
🔴The time frames for these storms are earlier than normal due to atmospheric thresholds being reached. Storm initiation is forecast from 11am-1pm with the peak activity between 1-6pm. Cells are expected to move from West to East so essentially will impacting less locations than the Mondays storm system (Green arrows). Not everyone will get hit, but you might! That’s the way it rolls…
đź”´Storm warning lead times may be reduced due to rapid development within close proximity to populated locations. Be prepared and stay safe!

Storm with hail warning. Please get your cars under shelter.

Storm with hail warning. Please get your cars under shelter.

⚠️Right, so you all saw the supercell with 8cm hail smash a long damage path last night... Well even bigger more frequent storms are forecast this afternoon and this evening for SEQLD & NENSW!

đź”´A surface trough will inject a very hot and humid Westerly airmass along the ranges onto the coast initially during the day. A South Easterly wind change will move North along the NENSW coast as a North Easterly afternoon Sea Breeze front develops which will create a triple point wind convergence. This triple point wind convergence progresses Northwards into SEQLD during the afternoon.
đź”´A warm air inversion (CAP) in the low levels will suppress or lid most storm development until midday with break thresholds likely to be achieved from 12pm onwards - especially in NENSW first then into SEQLD. (NOTE: Extreme mid level instability is generating a few high based morning storms in NENSW). Wind shear both speed and directional thresholds through the low to mid levels support the development of mesocyclones (Supercells).

đź”´Rapid severe storm development is expected through inland / range areas of NENSW and SEQLD at first with nuclear type cells producing large hail, damaging winds and heavy rainfall in their early stages. A number of these cells will intensify further onto the coastal plain to become Super-cellular producing Giant Hail up to 10cms, Destructive Winds up to 150km/h & Very Intense Rainfall. Storm activity will track North East with some cells tracking in a more Northerly direction riding the wind boundary / triple point. Conditions are generally unfavourable for any tornadoes however one or two can't be completely ruled out being attached to a meso.

🔴So from Grafton to Maryborough including the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan, Moreton, Hinterland & Valleys, Ranges and possibly just west of the ranges ARE ALL "AREAS" AT RISK. Not everyone will get hit, but you might! That’s the way it rolls…
