The Art of Healing magazine has written an article on The Hair 600 Compatibility Test.

I have been using this test for many years. It’s surprising what has come up in the report (aluminum in a roof guy) and foods, drinks, cleaning snd everday household items that your body doesnt love at a particular time.

The beauty is these flagged red foods, drinks, cleaning products and household items are individual to you. Best avoided for about 6 months but usually can be reintroduced and tolerated (not always! Gluten and dairy often are not tolerated in some people). The black items are ok.

The Hair Test costs $299 and results are usually a few days to a week.

They operate from Burpengary, were Landsborough for decades and test peoples samples from all over the world!

Let me know if you have questions, happy to answer.

New data links everyday pantry staples to a raft of unexplained symptoms. Milk and bread top the charts, affecting 95% of tested individuals, while bloating, tiredness, rashes and itchy skin have been revealed as the most common symptoms among sufferers.

Listen to your body sending you messages ☀️💫

Respecting yourself starts with listening to the signals your body and mind send you. Too often we push past our limits—skipping meals, powering through fatigue, grinding away at work—only to crash harder later. When your body whispers (or even shouts) for a break, give it what it needs: a pause, a stretch, a deep breath, a good night’s sleep. Ignoring that signal isn’t a badge of honor; it’s a fast track to burnout.

Your mind needs rest just as much as your body does. Anxiety, stress, overthinking—these are your mind’s red flags. If you notice yourself spiraling or feeling mentally foggy, it’s not weakness to step back; it’s wisdom. Set aside time for meditation, a walk in fresh air, or simply a screen-free hour. Clearing the mental clutter rejuvenates your focus and creativity far more than another hour of forcing yourself to “power through.”

Honoring yourself means recognizing when you need space and giving it without guilt. A moment for yourself isn’t selfish; it’s self-preservation. Whether it’s closing the door for ten minutes of silence, turning off notifications, or carving out an afternoon to read a book, those moments recharge your resilience and remind you that you matter.

You don’t have to wait until you’re collapsing under stress to show yourself respect. Start tuning in today:

Notice the tension in your shoulders or that nagging fatigue in your bones.

Acknowledge the restless thoughts or creeping irritability in your mind.

Act by giving yourself permission to stop, breathe, and do something nourishing—right now.

When you respect your body and mind by honoring their needs, you create a foundation of strength and well-being. And from that foundation, everything you do—work, relationships, dreams—becomes more sustainable, more joyful, and ultimately, more you. Take that break. Rest your mind. Honor yourself. You deserve it.

It’s almost Easter so a good time to think about what chocolate you buy and gift. 🐣 🍫

‘There are many valid excuses to eat chocolate daily – but there’s a catch, for it to be beneficial to our health, it must be Dark Chocolate, preferably 80%+ cocoa. The high cocoa content accounts for its health benefits.’

Good dark chocolate contains many health enhancing micronutrients like magnesium, manganese, zinc, chromium, potassium. It also has wonderful antioxidants and anti-inflammatory polyphenols. Only a little every day though, the equal of a couple of small squares. Happy Easter holidays! 🐰

Great news! 🥳

Very happy to confirm Naturopathy and the following Natural Therapies have been approved by the Federal government TO BE REINSTATED FOR HEALTH FUND REBATES!

No date as yet but all communication points to it being very quick.

The following natural therapies will be reinstated:
Naturopathy
Western Herbal Medicine
Yoga
Pilates
Tai Chi
Shiatsu
Alexander Technique

6 years we’ve been fighting for this to be reinstated. It was wrong to be removed from HF rebates in the first place.
