The best kind of movement program is the one you actually ππ½ stick to. Whereas some individuals might not have any interest in hitting up their local gym, being able to move openly and without restriction can help make life more enjoyable as we age!
Staying in tune with your body and keeping tabs on HOW various movements feel during the day is a vital part of keeping yourself mobile into your older years. We can help you find activities that will suit your ability and interest.

Eating a healthy diet can help reduce physical and emotional symptoms that may arise during your period. Try these tips for maintaining an active lifestyle:
π₯¦ Eating more vegetables, fruit or grains with each meal you consume; this includes legumes if they're part of the food group (e.g., beans). Choose whole-grain carbs such as brown rice instead white breads/cereal bars to keep blood sugar stable
β Consume smaller meals at regular intervals throughout the day
If you need help getting into a healthy routine in the new year or having a tough time with period symptoms we can help π

During the New Year period there's always an increase in parties, family gatherings and barbeques. While it's a great time of year for socialising with loved ones, it can also be a time of excess, especially when it comes to alcohol. It's an excellent time to reflect on our drinking culture and the way we drink:
π’ Keep track by pouring your own drinks
π³ Avoid drinking on an empty stomach
π¦ Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated
ππΎ Avoid combining alcohol with energy drinks
π Carpool with a few friends
π² Stick to your budget

As with any medical condition, itβs most important that we keep taking the medicine. With the mayhem of normal school drop off and lunches, after-school swimming and ballet, itβs easy for the little blue puffer to be left in the draw at home. However, itβs important to remember that asthma can be very serious if left untreated. GPβs can help!
We regularly write Asthma Action Plans β which are an essential, one-page document that reminds kids and their parents what to do if their asthma is worse than normal. Schools require this written and signed action plan to deliver medicine at school. So please remember to ask your GP for one.
