At Buderim Views we came together to honour the spirit of ANZAC, a time of reflection, remembrance, and deep respect for those who served and sacrificed.
Our service was made especially meaningful with the presence of a catafalque party, heartfelt readings, and a moving wreath-laying tribute. Together, residents, staff, and special guests created a beautiful and respectful ceremony.
Many of our residents carry strong personal and family connections to wartime service - across generations, countries, and roles. Today, we honoured not only those who served on the front lines, but also those who supported behind the scenes: the medics, nurses, volunteers, and families whose resilience helped shape history.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to this special service and helped keep the ANZAC spirit alive within our community.

Today, Saturday 25 April, our communities across Australia are coming together to commemorate Anzac Day on the 111th anniversary of the Gallipoli landings. For many, this whole week has been about reflecting and honouring those who have served in times of peace and war.

We were lucky enough to sit down with several veterans in the lead up to today and are honoured to be sharing their stories of resilience, comradery and hope.

The men came out in full force for the BBQ… honestly, we had to do a double take 🤣
One lovely lady even said, “I’ve never seen this many men out at once!” 😁🍖👏
Good food, great laughs, and a great turnout of the Buderim Views gentlemen all in one place… 🍻

The Easter Bunnies made a special stop at Buderim Views! 🐰🥚✨
Our residents had a wonderful time on the Easter egg scavenger hunt, followed by some well-deserved chocolate treats 🍫💛

What a magical day filled with laughter, creativity, and a whole lot of Irish spirit! 🇮🇪✨
Our residents got into the festive mood with hands-on crafts, followed by a fun-filled afternoon of trivia, toe-tapping Irish tunes, and a cheeky round of Saint Paddy’s Bingo 🍀🎶
But the real pot of gold at the end of the rainbow? 🌈
Celebrating our very own Irish Queen, Pat, turning 100 years young! 👑💚 What an absolute honour to share such a special milestone on such a lucky day.
There were smiles, stories, a sprinkle of mischief, and just the right amount of Irish shenanigans to keep the leprechauns busy! 😉🍀
