Today is International Women’s Day, and we’re recognising the foundational role women have played in our organisation, from its beginnings to the present. From Lady Janet Clarke’s tireless commitment to rallying government and community support for those most in need, to Prime Minister Alfred Deakin’s wife Pattie who accompanied our early nurses on their rounds, to our 16,000+ workforce today, Bolton Clarke has been shaped by the vision, hard work and expertise of generations of women across leadership, support and frontline care services.

Our crafty residents are so happy to have pottery back as part of our arts and crafts program 🎨✨
Last week they created their own ring and jewellery holders, and this week they came together to paint and bring them to life. Some even explored freestyle painting on canvas, while others started painting vases to take home.
It’s all about creativity, consistency, and the joy of coming back to where they left their work 💛🖌️

What a ripper Australia Day celebration at Buderim Views this year 🇦🇺🐠
Our day was truly resident-led, and wow did they deliver!
Inspired by the Great Barrier Reef, the space came alive with bright colours and our residents’ gorgeous fish artworks as the backdrop. From writing and performing their very own Octopus Garden skit (complete with resident-designed costumes!) to singing along, playing the piano, and sharing what Australia Day means to them – it was pure magic.
We had creative souls painting Australian animals in watercolours, playful spirits enjoying a cheeky rubber duck game and water fun outdoors, all while classic Aussie tunes set the mood 🎶🐨
And for those who couldn’t join us or preferred to stay in their rooms, everyone was included with themed placemats full of puzzles, fun facts and colouring.
A huge thank you to everyone involved – what a beautiful way to celebrate and kick-start 2026 together ❤️✨
