On Sunday we were hit with cyclonic conditions, receiving over 150mm of rain with unrelenting 95km/h winds. And in the middle of all of this Mackenzie gave birth to a gorgeous little girl. Naturally the new edition is called Cyclone. The 3 mums and bubs only have a 10x3m area up out of the water so tempers are fraying and we are expecting another 100mm of rain over the next couple of days - sigh!

And so the surprises keep coming! 😁A boy born tonight - reluctantly! He was all stuck and twisted and was absolutely no help at all but we got him eventually. Then he played dead for awhile! Only a bloke could cause you this much grief - lol!
Both mum and bub are too exhausted to get up atm so they are both eating laying down!

So this happened today!!!! 😮 A bit of a shock to the system. First lamb born on Lucy Land since November 2023 and a girl too! Introducing Anya! Both Mum and Bub doing well.

Shearing was a little later than usual this year but I had some good help from Caesar and the human wool press! Managed to get all the fleeces skirted and sent off for processing within 24 hours of shearing! An unbelievable feat for ! I have kept a few raw fleeces back if anyone wants to purchase them.

So it begins ... My first jar in my journey into preserving. This particular batch is bergamot extract, an essential ingredient in Earl Grey tea & Turkish Delight! Two of my favourite things! Also helps lower cholesterol, anxiety & joint pain. Made using 100% Lucy Land grown bergamot oranges!!!
