We understand recent news media around the Federal Budget announcement and NDIS changes has caused some concern amongst our community.

Change is hard.
That's a fact.

But what we need to focus on is getting accurate and up to date information directly from the source. As it currently stands, Support Coordination is a vital role for participants and their families, and we will continue as promised until explicitly told otherwise.

As a collective,  the team from The Right Coordination will provide these services as promised until the day we are told to hang up our boots. Our priority is, and always has been, to put the needs of participants first and to empart accurate knowledge as it comes to hand.

We are here until the very end to see you through it.

We know yesterday's NDIS announcement has caused a lot of concern. Firstly we want to acknowledge that and, most importantly, reassure you: You are not navigating this alone.

Remember, these are proposed changes, not legislation. There's a long way to go, and as we've learned from past experiences (like the still ongoing PACE rollout), any new implementation will take time.

We'll share any updates and clarity as it becomes available, and as a Support Coordination team we will work our hardest alongside you all until the job is done.

What a year! 🖤🤍

2025 showed us some challenges and brought us some magical growth across The Right Coordination & BizABLE Microenterprise Program team.

Our crew exploded from 3 Independent Support Coordinators to an amazing team of eleven; we now have admin support with the wonderful Sam, growth in sunny Queensland and across Sydney and the Central West.

The week, we reached the milestone of 200 participants, which is absolutely mind blowing!

2026 is looking to be just as magical, with 3 more Independent Support Coordinators joining us in the New Year alongside our first group BizABLE program kicking off early February in Emu Plains.

With the exception of the public holidays, our office will be open over the holiday period.

Thank you for your support, we could not have achieved any of this without you. Looking forward to kicking more goals in 2026.

We are excited to introduce Narelle O’Brien, who is joining our Support Coordination team in QLD.

Narelle brings an incredible depth of lived experience, compassion and practical knowledge. As a mum of seven and long-time carer, she self-manages seven NDIS plans, coordinates large support teams, and understands the real challenges families face when navigating complex needs.

Narelle has built a reputation for being organised, down-to-earth, trauma-informed and genuinely passionate about reducing carer burnout. Her background includes domestic-violence advocacy, homeschooling neurodivergent children, budgeting support, and helping families develop sustainable systems that actually work.

Narelle’s strengths include:

✔️ NDIS budgeting & self-management expertise
✔️ Building and organising support teams
✔️ Advocacy, planning and goal implementation
✔️ A compassionate, real-world approach rooted in lived experience

By becoming an independent contractor with us, you'll have the ability to shape your career while being part of a team that values integrity, participant-centered care, and ethical practices.

Here’s what sets us apart:

No KPIs: Concentrate on what truly matters —supporting participants — without the pressure of rigid targets.

Flexible Hours: Customise your working hours to fit your lifestyle; we only ask for a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week on average.

Work Remotely: Enjoy the option to work from home or any location you prefer.

Manageable Caseload: Determine your own caseload based on your comfort level, allowing you to deliver high-quality, personalised support to your participants.

Autonomy: Experience the freedom to make decisions and work independently, with a supportive team ready to assist when needed.

Ongoing Supervision and Training: Benefit from professional supervision and training to enhance your skills.

Essential Requirements:

- Extensive experience in the disability sector.
- NDIS worker screening check, police check, and working with children check.
- Current driver's license and a reliable vehicle with registration and comprehensive insurance.
- Certificate of completion from the NDIS worker orientation module.
- Your own ABN and insurances (professional indemnity and public liability). We can assist you in getting started with this.
