Each Christmas I make about 35 Christmas Cakes. I share, eat & they even go travelling with us!
The recipe was given to me by a dear friend who heard it on the ABC radio some 30 years ago. It's a fool proof, amazing cake.
I gave one to a friend for Christmas a few years ago, ( Reluctantly, as I was running low on stock) she then made the most delicious Ice Cream fruit cake with drizzled in chocolate. Now, each year she asks , very nicely , sometimes offering a "bribe" (hint hint - you know who your are) if l can spare another for her famous Christmas desert.
So if your staying with us over Christmas, don't be surprised if you find one of these waiting for you to enjoy.

Hi Janine & Alan,

We had the most wonderful time – thank you again for your amazing hospitality and thought-of-absolutely-everything wellness retreat!
