Spinal Flow
Imagine a therapy that engages your innate intelligence to flow like a wave throughout your spine and body. One that allows you to connect within, while experiencing the gentle release of stress, pain and trauma. These layers are peeled back one at a time, at the exact perfect moment, when your body is ready to let them go.
While receiving this incredibly gentle technique, your body relaxes and the mind quietens. You drop down into a deep parasympathetic state where your own healing potential, as an energy force, flows intelligently. In that moment it knows precisely what is your highest priority that needs to be addressed. It could be pain, chemical toxicity or stored trauma.
You may feel an emotion arise. One that is trapped and possibly holding you back or causing pain. You feel it, acknowledge it, release it and it is gone. There is no need to analyse, discuss or even know where it came from. All you need to do is express it and let go.
This is the experience of the Spinal flow technique. Every session is unique as all humans are unique. But everyone that experiences the spinal flow technique all say the same thing. They are more relaxed, more at ease with less stress, pain and tension. With the surprising bonus of feeling more empowered and self assured.
The spinal Flow technique is a modality developed and founded by an Australian Chiropractor, Dr Carli Axford. It is based on the principles of chiropractic care, the science of the nervous system, the philosophy of our body’s innate intelligence with the ability to self heal and the art of touch.
In this interview, our FNTP and NTA Instructor Sue Penfold of https://vitalflowfusion.com.au shares her exploration of adding this powerful modality to her skillset
Sue is a Natural Health Practitioner, founder of VITALFLOW fusion, specialising in Nutritional Therapy and the Spinal Flow Technique. She is passionate about helping people with stress, trauma, pain and anxiety by empowering them to be in charge of their own health and wellness through sound lifestyle choices and honouring body intelligence.
Sue was called to the wellness industry through her own health crisis. In her early 40’s she was challenged by a period of intense stress that depleted her health and vitality.
After numerous Dr visits, she did not like the direction conventional medicine was leading her. Therefore, she decided to follow her instincts to take back control of her health.
She re-evaluated her life, reduced stress, addressed structural issues and followed ancestral eating principles. Slowly she began to heal, regained her energy and zest for life. She was so amazed by the transformation, not only to her physical health, but mental health too. She didn’t even know she had anxiety until she didn’t have it any more. Her whole life she just thought it was ‘normal’ to feel that way.
Sue has witnessed the decline in human health, inspiring her to want to make a difference and enter the world of wholistic health, to help others discover the best version of themselves.
