The SSFP staff were treated to a day of mini golf at Par 3 today to show appreciation all of the hard work everyone puts in at SSFP.

Unfortunately due to circumstances there are 3 of our valued team missing.

Introducing Dr Vyshnavey Smith MM!!

Doctor Vysh graduated from Monash University Malaysia in 2017. She has worked in Perth since 2018, commencing her internship at Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital and subsequently working in different hospitals across multiple specialities. Her interests include Women’s, Men’s and Paediatric Health as well as all aspects of General Practice. Outside of work Dr Vysh enjoys travelling and spending time with Family.

Dr Vysh is ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS and is available for bookings on the following days:
Monday- Thursday: 10am - 6pm
Friday: 8am - 4pm

We would like to advise that from 1st July 2024, Spencer Street Family Practice will transition to a mixed billing practice.
Unfortunately due to rising costs of staff wages, medical supplies, insurances, utilities and coupled with the fact that for many years, Medicare rebate have failed to keep pace with inflation, and do not reflect the cost of delivering high quality general practice services. The cost of running a practice has continued to rise annually, and it is no longer financially viable to continue to provide high quality medical service whilst Bulk billing all our patients.

We will continue to Bulk bill:
Children under 16 years,
Pension card holders
Health care card holders
DVA Gold card holders
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders,
Care plan and Health Assessment.
Every other patient outside these categories will be privately billed.

Please note that payment will be required on the day of consultation and your Medicare rebate will be processed after payment.
We want to continue to provide high quality and best medical care to all our patients.
