Over the weekend, we completed our first rebrand in WA — with Capital Radiology, Busselton now proudly becoming Apex Radiology, Bussell Highway.

🎉 Celebrating Jeff Fribben’s Retirement!

After many years of dedicated service, we are both proud and a little sad to announce the retirement of Jeff Fribben, Medical Imaging Technologist and one of the original team members at O’Connor.

Jeff has been a cornerstone of the clinic since its inception, seamlessly transitioning from public to private radiology and always putting patients first. His caring and patient approach has earned him consistent praise, including a nomination for the 2022 Patients First – Service Award. Jeff’s ability to explain procedures with kindness and patience has made a real difference in the experience of every patient he has scanned.

From a fellow team member: “Jeff always goes above and beyond for every patient. He shows care and compassion for everyone that he scans.”

Jeff, your professionalism, warmth, and dedication have made you a pleasure to work with and a trusted figure for patients and staff alike. We thank you for your outstanding contribution and wish you all the best in your well-earned retirement. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

P.S. In true O’Connor fashion, we managed to let Jeff retire without ever getting a full team photo together - so you’ll just have to imagine us all smiling behind him one last time!

'Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.' - Helen Keller. This powerful message resonated with us during our recent Integral Diagnostics conference on the Sunshine Coast, which embodied the theme of the conference: Together Towards Tomorrow.

Over the past few days, we've witnessed the impact of collaboration as our team from across Australia and New Zealand came together to share insights and drive innovation in healthcare. Keynote speakers like Ben Bravery and Garry Pollack shared their insights, while specialised sessions from Stephen Bird and expert-led presentations by our team provided valuable strategies for improving patient care.

The conference was a testament to our shared commitment to shaping the future of healthcare. We celebrated this collaborative spirit at our closing reception dinner, enjoying great company and live music from the amazing M7 band.
