My hair took a hammering this year, but thankfully it held in there for me. I had to have it cut whilst going through treatment as it was thinning out. Sometimes cutting your hair can be a good thing as it holds energy, this is why so many feel liberated cutting it all off. Daoists don’t cut their hair as it’s in natural and connects us spiritually to source it, sacred and an extension of our nervous system. We don’t bleach it or colour it we just let it naturally be its authentic beautiful self.

Autumn is a time to let go of all that no longer serves you, it is time to declutter, it's time to let go of the old to make way for the new. It is important to protect yourself from the cooler winds and weather so keep your self warm especially around your neck. Our bodies like warm sweet foods this time of year, especially pears, Mapel syrup and sweet Potatoe. This recipe is one of my favorites and is an Autumn favorite in my house hold. I hope you enjoy it.
